Anti-Ragging Committee

 The committee often includes:
  • Principal or Director: Chairperson of the committee.
  • Faculty Members: Senior teachers from various departments.
  • Students: Representatives from different student groups, ensuring student involvement.
  • Non-teaching Staff: Administrative staff or hostel wardens.
  • Counselors: Mental health professionals or counselors to support affected students.
  • External Members: Sometimes police officers or NGO representatives.
  Their primary duties include:
  1. Preventing ragging through awareness programs.
  2. Handling complaints promptly by investigating the incidents.
  3. Taking strict action against those found guilty of ragging, including suspension, fines, or expulsion.
  4. Ensuring a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging within the institution.
